Scholarship Finder When a detector scholarship wonder what I'm interested in a major, I'll save for psychiatry? Whenever I use one, he never Psychiatry. Why? Do I need if I am interested in this topic? Is there something that says maybe mental health? Or, doctor - a psychiatrist, you must be a doctor. Well for undergraduate studies there is no important for psychiatry. Most people seeking information for their studies (ie, medical school) and see what schools accept students and then from there. Most people who want to enter psychiatry choose to double major in biology and psychology (most likely a BS in psychiatry because it's "hard-science", which is necessary for medical school ). Some people may simply choose to stay with a BS in biology with an emphasis on neuroscience or work on a minor in psychology as well, but I recommend a double major in two, as psychology courses can give you an overview of advice and medicines in neurology and even with treatment issues, while biology will cover all other bases in health, anatomy and chemistry. I recommend putting the biology or psychology or both down, depending on which one you will end up choosing. Much luck! Check to see if they have a paragraph of psychiatry, such as research, work at the hospital board. Things like that. Posted on March 2, 2010.
