Offshore Investing

Offshore Investinginvest abroad?

I may or may not be involved in foreign investment. How can I do here in the U.S. legally?

I have no interest in investing here in the U.S., so I'm looking abroad. However, I want to be legal. I do not want to get into any trouble.

So basically, how can I do here legally invest offshore in the U.S.? And DONT tell me that I can not or should not do. This is not an option.

You did not ask to buy foreign companies in the United States. You asked about investing offshore.

It is legal for U.S. citizens to invest abroad. If you create an account, however, you have until June the following year to file an IRS Form disclose the account. This requirement will only be effective if your foreign accounts totaling more than $ 10,000. You are also required to disclose the account on your U.S. tax return, 1040, Appendix B.

Below is the link to the IRS form.

Best of success.

There are many foreign stocks and bonds that can be easily accessed through an online broker. He is also active abroad (a tax shelter for your money). Go to Google and type "assets abroad"

If you talk about holding shares in companies abroad. Then you can watch American Depository Receipts (ADRs). These are shares of foreign companies that are traded just like U.S. stocks on the NYSE, Nasdaq, etc.

A good example is an Indian company Infosys (Nasdaq: INFY). No opinion on the weather, you should buy or not. I am just giving an example.
