Healthcare Surrogate

Senator John McCain has vigorously sought to distance himself from Bush, in an effort to avoid being tagged by Democrats as running for a third Bush term. However, as Think Progress notes, McCain's chief surrogate, Senator Lindsey Graham has not adhered to this message during his appearance on ABC This Week with George Stephanopoulos.

Stephanopoulos asked Senator Graham if McCain's tax policies and health care is essentially "an extension or maybe an improvement in Bush policy." Sen. Graham said: "Yes, absolutely."

As far as I know, the only difference is that McCain is, like, 400 years.

The last time I checked to "improve" something has to change for the better. In addition, if you actually read something McCain is giving tax breaks to individuals to choose their health and get help to pay. I do not see how this is an extension of the Bush policy.

Obama voted along party lines 96% of the time. Where is the big change, he is promoting?

The repub talking drinking Kool Aid, but when they see what Bush did most of them woke up except the very delusional 23% who still approve the work he is doing makes you wonder what they drink. They feel the same if McCain was able to be elected ..

He could distance himself from Bush with the tax increases that push investors and create jobs offshore to better investments.
