Gold Coins For Sale

Gold Coins For SaleHow are you on the purchase of gold coins?

The Treasury website provides 1 oz gold coins for sale.
gold dealers tell me that the Treasury sells only the so-called "proof" of parts that are more expensive.
Can anyone help with this confusion?

It depends a bit on why you buy gold coins. Proof coins are more expensive because they are designed as collectibles. The normal strike "coins are intended primarily ingots.
If you buy bullion and does not care about the aspect of collection, most of the parts dealers will sell you Krugerrands, Canadian Maple Leafs, Eagles or the United States, which all contain one troy ounce of gold and sell slightly more than the spot price of gold.
Here is the list a large bullion dealer in current prices, to give you an idea of what is available and at what price?

You can take a look at http://www.bullionsupermarket.com is a price comparison service that searches ebay for free silver and gold coins platinum. Report Abuse

The Treasury sells coins for collectors of proof because the proof coins are made using a special process to give them a mirror and they are generally conducted in the San Francisco West Point Mint. If you are interested in other pieces of gold I would check ebay or buy the book red book is a collection of most use when buying parts.
