Getting Probate

Getting ProbateProbate genealogists, there should be sure to make it worth involving them.

I recently had a phone probate genealogist me and tell me to my second Cousen died last year without a family first hand.
take so long to find me and my brother, these people really get involved if its not worth there time.

Genealogists are researchers certification type of contract that are not paid as a per cent or part of the estate. They have their own costs, and normally are people who love the challenge of the genealogy, and submit it for practical purposes. I am not a professional researcher approval, but a family that I had many documents on, was among the documents requested by the estate. I was happy to share.
If you have any concerns, the person will directed you to the lawyer who handles the estate.
edit-
when there is no will, is exactly when the search is necessary.

Usually, a scam. Call the Probate Court for the county before accepting anything. In most states, a 2nd cousin would not inherit any way if there was no will, in this case, the executor must have found you. If there was no will, you can not have the right anyway.

As they will take a cut of everything that has been left to you, the money has got to be enough to be worth your time. As you said his cousin died, no doubt, you now have enough information to find this person?
