How is it like the financial planner career as a counselor /? I have the qualifications of Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering and experience of 9 months of quality assurance in manufacturing. I am currently unemployed due to downsizing of the company. And I recently received offers of employment for the financial planners / consultants of certain insurance companies.
- So what is to be a financial planner / consultant?
- What is the basic salary scale for the career? (They said they have no base salary and a commission based on it, what does that mean?)
- Do you find objections to a financial planner / consultant?
- Should I wait for job interviews in my career as an engineer (which is very rare) or throw myself into the financial planner career as a counselor /?
Hello,
I asked a financial planner last year and not only are you under constant training, but you also need to hire a certain quota of profits to the company each year. For example, more than 3 million for some companies.
Many companies do not pay you a salary basis, most of it is the commission you receive from customers that you find.
You are also expected to find and keep your own customers.
I suggest the research is a financial analyst. your career and educational background of its sounds like you might enjoy this more.
