My father had an open casket funeral and it looked terrible. He was a skeleton when he died of colon cancer. My mother was talked into it. It makes no sense because he was cremated anyway. I want people to remember that when I was alive, not when I am dead. I want my body cremated as soon as possible.

In fact, several times if someone is going to be incinerated, they still have the coffin and a funeral before you are incinerated. ;)

Depending on how I met my end would be the answer to this question. I do not see dead bodies well, but I might be the person to make up something on my face as not to freak people. Why not go out with a bang?
