Smart fortwo - 33 mpg city / 41 mpg highway
Mini Cooper - 28 mpg city / 37 mpg highway
Toyota Yaris 3 doors - 29 mpg city / 36 mpg highway
Honda Fit - 28 mpg city / highway 35 miles per gallon
Other gas savers are the Civic and Corolla.
Honda Civic 5-SPD city-25 mpg / 36 mpg highway

I agree that the Honda Civic have a high consumption of gasoline. With the gas being more expensive than it is, I think we all need to think about fuel economy when it comes to buying a car. I heard that you could possibly convert your current car to run on water and gas and increase fuel consumption by a little. I have been looking into this.
Honda civics are not the cars with the best mpg ..... and in my personal opinion is junk ..... car with best gas mpg is the Toyota Yaris - 34 City, 39 Road
