Some time ago I had a client contact me about starting a website nutrition and complete the sale of about 1,200 products for health conscious individuals and bodybuilders. The client had at least six different domain names and I wanted to own each site, but do not want a back-office administrative area for each field.

The customer has decided on one of our pre-developed e-commerce solutions ColdFusion . The administrative office for the return of their chosen product is very intuitive, in that the authorized administrators with no experience in web development are able to create brands, manufacturers, products, product characteristics, such as sizes and colors , coupon discount codes and a myriad of other features. The client loved the interface and features, but it would take a little time to continuously update each of the six areas.

Now, why would a business want to have several websites that offer the same products to start? Well, I suppose a good first answer would be simple to build market share and tremendous website traffic or can be put in place certain areas and sell them individually at a later date. I have highlighted some monetary benefits in the long term client further, but as I briefly next project, it goes without saying that it takes time and requires extensive testing to begin with. In the long term, the customer will recognize and appreciate a considerable reduction of time and money once the project is completed.

To meet the objective of the client, I created the original seller (customer / client side) and the sector back-office administration. On the customer side of the store, customers are able to drill down through the product manufacturer, category, price, sale items, clearance items, etc. The results are displayed in the product description presentable. Where appropriate, the customer will choose the color or size of products and add to their shopping cart.

The client had a lot of customer loyalty for their products and wanted the client to connect to a domain management account. The modules include web site development have been developed for the area of Internet connection:

For features of desktop client, I developed and has a user name and password protected area of the customer account (folder) in which the following is assumed:

• Development of client user interface so that existing and potential customers can easily purchase products created by the administrator, allowing quick click on the category and subcategory links or search forms.
• Ability to search for products by using keywords and / or options.
• Customer will be able to select different products and options to add their product to a shopping cart.
• Client is connecting to an existing account or create a new account.
• For the customer's account, they will be able to provide or update your billing information and shipping and applicable account information to ensure timely communication.
• Customer will be able to log into their account at any time to view the articles that may require some sort of validation, etc.
• Ability to create and modify account. Primary information will be their billing and shipping. (Company name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone and fax numbers, e-mail etc.)
• Develop an interface where customers can create, edit, delete addresses additional shipping and countless points of contact.
• Ability to manage their login information.
• Ability to view and chronological research.
