Audit MasterFulfillment Doctor: Get the most out of your system management commands With A New-Implementation of Post Audit

Question: Our company has installed our new system of management controls over the last 30 days. While we have spent much time educating our users and completing the conversion, I am afraid that we learn to manage our business with the new system too slow. What should be our plan?

AF Curtis Barry & Company, we often see that even a year after the purchase and installation of a global, companies are using maybe 25% to 35% of its potential functionality. Obviously, you hope that you will use much higher, as companies spend large amounts of capital to purchase and install a new system. Historically, management does not look at ways to increase the use of installed systems.

Having implemented the order management and warehousing systems dozens of times, what we found is that it often takes two to six months for any organization to make that cultural change to the new system . In the weeks that start, they act as if they were idle.

Solution

Your action plan should be to audit after the implementation of all aspects of the conversion and use of the system. Well, after the implementation of the system, an audit can help to increase the use of the system. An audit after implementation will help you discuss with the seller and your people on how to maximize the system - and ensure that users have a complete understanding of the system in areas that have a high turnover personnel.

A consultant, auditor, or a member of management can conduct the audit objective. (Keep in mind, there may be some sensitive issues if the training or the conversion does not go as planned.) The audit should include all departments that use the system management company, your department and sellers. The objective is to examine all aspects of implementation and to obtain answers to the following questions:

aec What is the open list of items to the left of the conversion?

aec What are the problems society is having with the new system?

aec What people should be trained? Make sure all parties understand how to manage your business with the new system ("In the old system I had it, what should I use now?").

aec This does not seem to work?

aec What you do not understand the new system?

aec The management receive reports and analysis that you expected? It is usually one of the major shortcomings.

aec Are there any problems left from the conversion file? The data is converted is often not "data very clean.

Key Sectors of the Ministry

To find these answers, your audit should consider the following questions:

Are there impacts customer service to be accelerated (dropout rates of treatment, for example, processing orders, returns / credit, select the error rate)?

Even with a large amount of training requires practical experience to do work daily for users to understand all aspects of how the system is in place and must be managed. The company will pass through the end of the season and process until you have mastered some systems.
