Accounting Analyst

Does anyone know if there is the title as accounting analyst? I heard some financial analysts that is something some of my friends are doing. What is an accounting analyst and how is it different from staff accountant or an accountant or financial analyst Jr.?

My goal is to become a financial analyst and I am currently offered a job title that says "accounting analyst" this will help my curriculum vitae for FA?

Sure, why not have such a title? The key to this is what are the duties and responsibilities of the position. Different companies may have different definitions for the title. I assume that the accounting analyst personal account or an accountant could easily Jr. have the same duties and responsibilities according to the size of the company and is the creation of titles.

As a financial analyst, I think some knowledge of accounting policies and procedures would be useful to understand how you found your objectives. In other words, real world solutions are not always the same thing is that the theoretical solutions and real world experience a definite positive.

An accounting analyst works with organizations to ensure financial transactions are in progress following the best practices and built on solid foundations. They are usually part of a team of subcontractors and can serve as controller to oversee accounting or simply to support existing efforts accounting.
