Accept Payments

Accept PaymentsHow can I find a family lawyer who accepts payments instead of withholding the whole?

I am a very tight budget, otherwise I probably would not continue child support, and I'm looking for a lawyer in the Atlanta area who accept payments in lieu of all $ 2,500 or more restraint. Do I just call and ask if they are willing to accept payments?

Well first go to Google or yellowpages.com consult lawyers in your zip code, then call them and ask if they handle cases of child support and if they accept payment on the cost, explain your situation and talk to him. They'll tell you what their policy is to pay or if they need a deposit or other. I hope this helps. Call a few and get prices, you can do the trick for the best price. I hope this helps

N Do not call them and ask if they accept payments. Take advantage of our free consultations over the prosecutors. Call their office and ask if they give free consultations. If they do, request an appointment. Do not go into details with a secretary or an assistant at the time. Just give a general description of your problem (a problem of care, an issue of child support, divorce, whatever ....). Keep your appointment with the lawyer and go in and discuss your problem and if you can help, what it can do for you. Do not mention once that you can not pay him immediately. The last topic will probably cover his fees. At this point you can explain that you can not pay the entire fee at the front and ask if he is ready to work on a payment plan. Do not walk in empty-handed and expect him to work with you. You must have at least a few hundred dollars to offer him from the outset, in good faith, to start your business. You must also have a paid job and have a regular income. At this stage, counsel is essentially to determine if you are a good risk to lend money to. Some lawyers will even accept personal property, cars, car titles, and property deeds to secure their rights.

In this economy, even lawyers are beginning to realize that if they want to keep making money at all, they're going to start being more flexible on setting up payment plans with their clients than they have been in the past.

The lawyer may not accept your proposal, but at least you have selected your brain free. Turning now to the next until you find one that will work with you. Good luck.

PS: If you need to apply for child support, contact the Division of Child Support of the Attorney General of your state office. This does not cost you a penny!

At least here in New Jersey, you would not be able to do it is not only against the rules of conduct, but against New Jersey State law. A lawyer who specializes in family law should make you sign a retainer agreement or you would never be able to find whatever assistance you. My answer does not help you out, whether you live in Georgia, but that is what the law is here in New Jersey, at least. ... You can talk to your local municipal court and see what financial alternatives may exist, but outside of a Finnish criminal law case, I'm not sure if the State provides lawyers in any other case.

I'm sorry if I did not much help ...

I recommend you try sites like the one below. They have a lot of comments onfo good lawyer and the type of info you're looking for. Good luck!
